Tamworth Queen Of Country Music Quest
The Queen of Country Music Quest was established in 1984 by the Tamworth and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry as a promotional event for local business involvement in the annual Country Music Festival. Entrants are traditionally sponsored by their employer or local business and see the event as a way of participating in and promoting the festival.
The Queen of Country Music Quest aims to find two young women to act as ambassadors for the Tamworth region and the Tamworth County Music Festival.
The Quest is not a beauty pageant! Entrants are judged on their presentation,personality, participation, deportment and knowledge of the Tamworth region and the Country Music Festival.
This year sees the quest celebrate its 30th anniversary, and how it has grown in its 30 years, with the winners now receiving gifts, money, and an all expense trip to Gore NZ for their Country Music festival being just some of the great prizes.
The quest itself is one of the best life experiences that any young woman of the Tamworth region can experience. With friends and celebrities to be met, confidence to be gained and huge career opportunities to be tapped into.
